
Lisa McCune

Lisa McCune is one of Australia’s most popular and successful screen and theatre actors, earning an impressive collection of awards celebrating her performances, including four Gold Logies for Most Popular Personality on Australian television.
Lisa recently performed on stage in the Sydney Theatre Company production of Lynn Nottage’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Sweat. She recently competed in the latest season of Network 10’s comedy game show Taskmaster, co-hosted the Nine Network lifestyle series The Garden Hustle alongside Dave Franklin, and narrates Nine Network’s groundbreaking documentary series Big Miracles. In 2024, Lisa won Dancing with the Stars with her dance partner Ian Waite.
After graduating from WAAPA, Lisa appeared in a few television pilots before landing the role of Maggie Doyle in the police drama Blue Heelers, which went on to become one of the most popular and enduring programs on Australian television, making Lisa a household name. During her years as Maggie Doyle, she played the lead role of Mary in the Seven Network mini-series The Potato Factory, based on Bryce Courtney’s novel.
Lisa’s recent television credits include the ABCMe series Planet Lulin, Network Ten comedy series How To Stay Married, the ABC series’ Ex PM, The Warriors and miniseries The Divorce: The Soap Opera. Her other television credits include It’s a Date opposite Peter Helliar for which she received an AACTA Award nomination for Best Performance in a Television Comedy, Network Ten’s drama Reef Doctors which she co-produced, telemovie Blood Brothers, Rake, Sea Patrol for which she received a Silver Logie Award nomination for Most Popular Actress, Tripping Over, Two Twisted, MDA, and the telemovie Hell Has Harbour Views for which she received a Silver Logie Award nomination for Most Outstanding Actress.
Her film credits include Josh Lawson’s feature The Little Death, Rowan Woods’ feature Little Fish and The Inner Sanctuary and Body Melt.
Lisa starred as Maria in the Gordon Frost production of The Sound of Music which she followed with her Green Room Award-winning performance as Sally Bowles in Cabaret. Her other stage credits include the lead role of Elizabeth Laine in Conor McPherson’s Girl From The North Country, which earnt her a nomination for Best Performance in a Leading Role in a Musical at the 2022 Sydney Theatre Awards, Bell Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Moisés Kaufman’s 33 Variations alongside Ellen Burstyn, Peer Gynt for the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Machu Picchu for STC and the State Theatre Company of South Australia, The King and I for Opera Australia and Gordon Frost Organisation, earning her a Helpmann Award nomination for Best Female Actor in a Musical, Shane Warne the Musical for the 2013 Adelaide Cabaret Festival, South Pacific for Opera Australia earning her a Sydney Theatre Award and Green Room Award nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical, Gloria, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, She Loves Me, Into The Woods, A Little Night Music for the MTC, The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee for STC, Guys and Dolls for Ambassador Theatre Group earning her a Green Room Award nomination for Best Female Artist in a Leading Role, and the STC & MTC co-production Urinetown, earning her both a Helpmann Award and a Green Room Award nomination for Best Female Artist.

Ian Stenlake

From beloved TV dramas to blockbuster musicals, Ian Stenlake has carved out a dynamic career across stage and screen. Most recently, he conjured magic (and menace), mesmerising audiences as the enigmatic Saruman in The Lord of the Rings: A Musical Tale. Prior to that, Ian toured nationally in Elvis: A Musical Revolution, portraying the legendary Colonel Tom Parker, a performance that earned him the Glugs Theatre Award for Best Actor in a Musical. His musical resumé is stacked with acclaimed roles including Sam in Mamma Mia!, Sky in Guys & Dolls, Curly in Oklahoma!, Cliff in Cabaret, Robert in The Bridges of Madison County and John Ashby in Georgy Girl.
Beyond musicals, Ian has also made his mark in a wide range of main stage productions. Highlights include Around the World in 80 Days for Ellis Productions, One Crowded Hour with the Tasmanian Theatre Company, Daylight Saving for Darlinghurst Theatre Company, School of the Arts for Queensland Theatre Company and Sleeping Beauty for Malthouse Theatre.
On screen, Ian is best known for his long-running roles as Commander Mike Flynn in Sea Patrol and Oscar Stone in Stingers. His television work also includes appearances in The Secret Daughter, Dance Academy and more. His film credits range from Diana & Me to Trapped in Space, and even a role in The Godfather Part III.
A two-time Green Room Award winner and Helpmann Award nominee, Ian continues to enchant audiences nationwide, affirming his place as a powerhouse of Australian stage and screen.

David Collins
From The Umbilical Brothers

David is a multi-award-winning performer best known as one half of The Umbilical Brothers. He has appeared recently on screen in George Miller’s 3,000 Years of Longing and Furiosa, David Leitch’s The Fall Guy, HBO’s The Tourist and the new film Carmen & Belude as well as a number of independent and short films including winning Best Actor at Tropfest with Silencer, a film he co-wrote and starred in. As a voice actor, David has lent his talents to international campaigns and major motion pictures Dino King 3D, Maya the Bee and Me & My Monsters. Television credits include The Let Down, Drop Dead Weird, Disney’s Book Of Once Upon A Time, Drunk History Australia, True Murder, Micro Nation and Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am. On stage, apart from seven Umbilical Brothers shows and a number of independent theatre productions, he co-wrote and starred in The Luck Child for Sydney Theatre Company, now being performed in several countries. David just directed it in Croatia. His other theatre includes the role of Ko-Ko for Simon Gallaher’s production of The Mikado, which inspired him and Colin Lane to co-write The Three Mikados, performed with Esther Hannaford.
The Umbilical Brothers stage shows, film and television work have won them applause and critical acclaim ranging from the internationally impressive to the entirely insignificant. Two BAFTA’s, an Emmy, Logie, Helpmann, Edinburgh Critics Choice Award and a Promax Award, whatever that is. They also created and performed in The Upside Down Show. Although only 13 episodes, the show ran for years in America and earned the duo a whole new generation of fans (and 1.5M TikTok followers).
David’s eclectic career has seen him perform in over 40 countries and across a variety of genres. He is one of very few performers to have sung on each of the Opera House stages. David is delighted to be joining the cast of The 39 Steps. He usually smells like tea and biscuits.

Shane Dundas
From The Umbilical Brothers

Shane Dundas is an accomplished actor, writer, comedian, and director best known as half of the internationally acclaimed comedy duo, The Umbilical Brothers. With a career spanning over three decades, Shane has captivated audiences across stage, television, and film with his signature blend of high-energy performance, vocal mastery, and inventive storytelling, slyly twisting what entertainment can be.
Alongside David Collins, Shane co-created and performed in numerous award-winning productions that have toured globally, from the Sydney Opera House to London’s West End, Broadway and beyond. Their work has been seen on major network programs including The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show and Sunday Night at the Palladium, and they’ve won multiple awards, including a Helpmann, two BAFTAs and the Critics’ Choice Award in Edinburgh. The Upside Down Show, created with Sesame Workshop, garnered them a Logie and an Emmy, and encouraged an entire generation of children to think outside the box.
Beyond his comedic achievements, Shane is a uniquely gifted voice artist and writer, contributing to projects in animation, television and commercial media. He brings a deep understanding of character, physicality, timing and audience engagement to all of his work. Shane enjoys quiet walks by the sea, preferably during ferocious storms.
